BABYMETAL Y X JAPAN han sido nominados en la sexta edición de los premios Loudwire Music Awards, organizados por la prestigiosa revista LOUDWIRE MAGAZINE. El plazo límite para votar es el 10 de enero de 2017 a través de su página web.
En la categoría "The Most Devoted Fans" han sido seleccionados X-JAPAN y BABYMETAL junto ACDC, GUNS N ROSES, Asking Alexandria, KORN, SLIPKNOT, METALLICA, IRON MAIDEN y DISTURBED.
BABYMETAL también han sido candidatas en "Best Live Act" junto a A Day to Remember, Amon Amarth, Behemoth, Black Sabbath, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Ghost, Gojira, Guns N' Roses, Iron Maiden, Korn, Meshuggah, Slipknot, Twisted Sister y Rob Zombie. Además, la vocalista de BABYMETAL, Su-Metal, ha sido nominada como "Rock Goddess of the Year" junto a Emma Anzai (Sick Puppies), Rosalie Cunningham (Purson), Lzzy Hale (Halestorm), Amy Lee (Evanescence), Mixi (Stitched-Up Heart), Taylor Momsen (The Pretty Reckless), Cristina Scabbia (Lacuna Coil), Simone Simons (Epica) y Lacey Sturm.
